They were all composed and recorded over the duration of the pandemic; before, during and after that strange period of silence. They mark milestones personal, social and political. As an expert in disaster science and the background to the pandemic as well as a creative musical artist, Terry Gibson writes narratives which link the music to that strange moment. The book is designed and illustrated by collaborator and visual artist Mike Thorpe. Purchase of the CD and compendium also includes digital streaming and download.

Ashokan Farewell: This track was composed by Jay Ungar as a requiem to the workshops that had been held at Ashokan. We re-recorded it to mark the passing of my wife's mother, who died alone during the first lockdown (not of Covid) and whose funeral was not possible for nine months. We played this recording at her graveside.
